The AC-MX-42X is a four-input, dual-output HDMI matrix switcher. It supports HDMI 2.1, HDCP 2.3, and up to 8K video resolution with 40Gbps bandwidth capacity. This matrix switcher is perfect for working with the latest gaming consoles, streaming devices, and satellite receivers, connecting them to 8K TVs and projectors. In addition, this matrix equalizes and amplifies the output to ensure HDMI signals will transmit through long HDMI cables without losing quality.
Our best developers have been hard at work bringing our integrators an easy-to-use web-based user interface that allows them to set up, troubleshoot, and control this 8K 4×2. The AVPro Edge User Interface (AEUI) allows for easy configuration and setup. This 8K matrix switcher also comes with a screen on the unit that can tell you the IP address for connecting directly to your control system.
From built-in scaling to complete EDID control and configuring, you can customize every aspect of this device to work perfectly for your system.
With this device, you can send 8K HDR content with full bitstream audio from HDMI 2.1 sources like Xbox Series X or PS5 gaming consoles directly to your TV and have a down-scaled mirrored output go to your current AVR. You to use the AVR already in the system while still delivering a complete 8K system.
Dual Output for working with Dual Screens: This matrix switcher has two outputs allowing you to control the content on two different 8K displays. Perfect for condo or apartment installations where 8K televisions are being installed or add a second display to your home theater mounted near a home bar or the adjacent room.
Downscale the same 8K signal for the 4K/1080p display: With the built-in downscaler, you can have the second display be a 4k or even 1080p legacy model and send full 8k content to the TV that can handle it. This ability to downscale gives your customers what they want, a picture on the 8K screen, while not worrying about HDMI compatibility issues.
