The AC-AEX-KIT is ideal in modern installations when the customer wants to hear the sound from the built-in Smart TV apps, and you want to route them back to the head end for playback on an AVR and whole-home audio distribution.
Proprietary Interconnect UTP/STP with POC – The audio extender uses a proprietary interconnect UTP/STP (Unshielded Twisted Pair/Shielded Twisted Pair) cable system with support for POC (Power over Cable) to provide reliable, high-quality audio transmission and power delivery over a single cable. This cable system is designed specifically for the audio extender, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing the risk of signal loss or interference. Additionally, the UTP/STP cable system with POC is widely available and cost-effective, making it a convenient and affordable option for users.
Uncompressed Audio – The audio extender is engineered to deliver uncompressed audio up to 100 meters. This ensures that the audio quality remains high and that there is no loss of audio fidelity during transmission.
SmartTV Audio Support – The audio extender is ideal for bringing SmartTV audio to a distributed system, supporting audio from popular apps like Netflix, Spotify, and Disney+. This allows users to enjoy high-quality audio from their favorite streaming services on their distributed audio system.
Multiple Audio Signal Support – The audio extender supports L/R and optical digital audio S/PDIF signals, allowing for stereo and multi-channel digital audio up to 5.1 channels (through Dolby Digital or DTS). This provides flexibility for different audio systems and configurations.
Dual Active Audio Outputs – The audio extender features dual active audio outputs, providing two separate audio signals for different audio systems. This allows users to connect to multiple audio systems simultaneously.
