Detailed Description
Edge is Symetrix's open-architecture DSP — the first Dante-enabled device on the market (launched in 2012). It has 4 I/O slots, each supporting up to 4 channels, allowing flexible combinations of analog, AES-3 digital, AEC, VoIP, or analog telephone cards according to each project's needs — up to 16 local I/O channels, plus audio over the Dante network. Integrated redundant Dante 64x64 with onboard 10/100 and Gigabit switches reduces the need for additional auxiliary network equipment.
