Description\n\nThe AC-EX70-UHD-ARC consists of a transmitter and receiver that connect via single 6a/7 UTP/STP. Connecting an HDMI signal to the transmitter allows for sending HDMI signals up to 70 meters at 1080p and up to 40 meters at 4K60 4:2:0, 4K30 4:4:4. It solves commercial and residential market problems for distributing high-value 4K UHD content from rack to display with the additional ability to send an audio signal bi-directionally through HDMI’s Audio Return Channel (ARC).\n\nAVPro Edge uses HDBaseT technology to send 4K signals long distances to deliver video anywhere in your installation and send the local audio signal back to your rack with the ARC feature.\n\n#### Tab Title\n\n* key benfits\n* specs\n* resources\n* in the box\n\nExtend 4K HDMI: The manufactured HDMI cable length is unchangeable and unreliable after about 25FT. Additionally, HDMI connectors can only be terminated in a specialized factory environment due to their high frequencies and density. This does not allow installers or users to remake or make cables on a DIY basis. CAT-6A cables are widely available and can be reworked easily by the installer or end-user.\n\nAudio Return Channel: ARC allows you to deliver local audio from internal smart tv apps like Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ back to your headend. You can then distribute this audio through amplifiers for enhanced audio experiences.\n\nDistance: By using AC-EX70-UHD-ARC, the transmission distance for HD 1080P is up to 70 meters (230’), and UHD 4K resolution reaches an impressive 40 meters (115’).\n\nControl: IR & RS-232 are bi-directional and can control the sources from the sinks or vice versa.\n\nBi-Directional Power: The PoH (Power over HDBaseT) function is intended to power Rx from the Tx or Tx from the Rx. The advantage of a lightweight (160 gram) super-slim extender is it can be mounted anywhere where space is premium.\n\nField Updates: Should a firmware update be necessary, it can be accomplished in the field\n\nTotal EDID Management:The AC-EX70-UHD-ARC has robust EDID control. EDID management allows you to manage the input device and request specific video resolutions and/or audio codecs. The following EDID options are available:\n\n EDID Bypass\n 1080P 2CH Audio\n 1080P 8CH Audio\n 4K60 4:2:0 2CH Audio\n* 4K60 4:2:0 8CH Audio\n* 4K60 4:4:4 HDR 2CH Audio\n* 4K60 4:4:4 HDR 8CH Audio\n* USER EDID – EDID Copy\n\nThe EDID Copy Function allows you to copy and save from any display or projector you want to.\n\nI-Pass: Plug your Control System emitter ports directly into the IR port on the transmitter (via mono 3.5mm cable) for clean and reliable IR pass-through. Our unique VPC (Voltage Protection Circuit) allows you to do this without wear and tear on the sensitive electronics inside.\n\n| | |\n| --- | --- |\n| Video: | |\n| Video Resolutions | Up to 4K 60Hz 4:2:0 & 4K30 4:4:4 |\n| VESA Resolutions | Up to DCI 4k (4096×2160) |\n| Color Space | YUV (Component), RGB (CSC: Rec. 601, Rec. 709, BT2020, DCI, P3 D6500) |\n| Chroma Subsampling | 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0 Supported |\n| Deep Color | Up to 16 bit (1080) Up to 12 bit (4K) |\n| Audio: | |\n| Audio Formats Supported HDMI | PCM 2.0 Ch, LPCM 5.1 & 7.1, Dolby Digital, DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-X, Dolby Atmos |\n| ARC Support | Yes |\n| Distance: | |\n| HDBaseT Distance (4K 60 4:2:0) | 40 Meters  (131 Feet)  (Cat 6a) |\n| HDBaseT Distance (Full HD) | 70 Meters  (230 Feet) (Cat 6a) |\n| HDMI Lead In/Out | Up to 50 Feet (Using Bullet Train HDMI) |\n| HDMI Lead In/Out (W/ AOC Cable) | Up to 130 Feet (Using Bullet Train AOC) |\n| Other: | |\n| Bandwidth | 10.2 Gbps |\n| CEC | YES |\n| HDCP | HDCP 2.3 and Earlier |\n| Ports: | |\n| HDMI | Type A |\n| HDBaseT | RJ45 w/ PoH for HDBaseT Receivers |\n| IR | 3.5mm |\n| Audio INPUT/OUTPUT (RX/TX) | 3.5mm Stereo / Mini Toslink |\n| RS-232 | 3 Pin Terminal Block |\n| Power (TX & RX) | 2 pin terminal block |\n| Environmental: | |\n| Operating Temperature | 23 to 125°F (-5 to 51°C) |\n| Storage Temperature | -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C) |\n| Humidity Range | 5-90% RH (No Condensation) |\n| Power: | |\n| Power Consumption (Total) | 12 Watts Max |\n| Power Supply – Matrix | Input: AC 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz Output: DC 48V 0.5A |\n| Dimensions: | |\n| Dimensions (Unit Only Height/Depth/Width) | mm: 11.7 x 75.2 x 122 inch: 0.46 x 2.96 x 4.8 |\n| Dimensions (Packaged Height/Depth/Width) | mm: 86 x 133 x 155 inch: 3.4 x 5.3 x 6.1 |\n| Weight (Unit) | 0.2 lbs (0.09 kg) |\n| Weight (Packaged) | 1.6 lbs (0.73 KG) |\n| \Specifications subject to change without notice.  Mass & dimensions are approximate | |\n\n AC-EX70-UHD-ARC-T (Transmitter)\n* AC-EX70-UHD-ARC-R (Receiver)\n* 48V 0.5A Power Supply (Can be powered at the Transmitter or Receiver)\n* 1 x IR Tx Unit\n* 1 x IR Rx Unit\n* 2 x Mini-Toslink adaptors\n* 2 x 3 Pin Terminal Connectors (For RS-232 Control)\n* 4 x Mounting Brackets\n* 8 x Screws for Mounting Brackets
