Description\n\nThe AC-MX-42X is a four-input, dual-output HDMI matrix switcher. It supports HDMI 2.1, HDCP 2.3, and up to 8K video resolution with 40Gbps bandwidth capacity. This matrix switcher is perfect for working with the latest gaming consoles, streaming devices, and satellite receivers, connecting them to 8K TVs and projectors. In addition, this matrix equalizes and amplifies the output to ensure HDMI signals will transmit through long HDMI cables without losing quality.\n\nOur best developers have been hard at work bringing our integrators an easy-to-use web-based user interface that allows them to set up, troubleshoot, and control this 8K 4×2. The AVPro Edge User Interface (AEUI) allows for easy configuration and setup. This 8K matrix switcher also comes with a screen on the unit that can tell you the IP address for connecting directly to your control system.\n\nFrom built-in scaling to complete EDID control and configuring, you can customize every aspect of this device to work perfectly for your system.\n\n* key benefits\n* specs\n* resources\n* in the box\n\n8K Home Theater Upgrade:Do you want to offer your current customers an 8K Home Theater? For your customer to connect multiple sources that are both 8K & 4K, they must have a Matrix Switcher. Displays have one HDMI port that is better than the others. Connecting to the 8K 4×2 allows users to use the best HDMI port all the time and get the most optimized pictures possible. You can now have your gaming console, streaming device, and satellite receiver connected to a controllable matrix switcher that works with any 3rd party control system like Control 4, Crestron, or Josh.ai.Legacy (4K/1080p) AVR Workaround:With 8K Televisions and 8K gaming consoles being a standard part of every luxury home, integrators can run into significant problems using an AVR to route massive 8K signals. With AVPro Edge’s 8K 4×2 matrix switcher, you can cleanly route uncompressed video from 8K & 4K sources directly to your 8K display or projector. At the same time, you can send a down-scaled signal to your AVR. This workaround ensures you get the highest quality sound without having to sacrifice your video.\n\nWith this device, you can send 8K HDR content with full bitstream audio from HDMI 2.1 sources like Xbox Series X or PS5 gaming consoles directly to your TV and have a down-scaled mirrored output go to your current AVR. You to use the AVR already in the system while still delivering a complete 8K system. \nDual Output for working with Dual Screens: This matrix switcher has two outputs allowing you to control the content on two different 8K displays. Perfect for condo or apartment installations where 8K televisions are being installed or add a second display to your home theater mounted near a home bar or the adjacent room. \nDownscale the same 8K signal for the 4K/1080p display: With the built-in downscaler, you can have the second display be a 4k or even 1080p legacy model and send full 8k content to the TV that can handle it. This ability to downscale gives your customers what they want, a picture on the 8K screen, while not worrying about HDMI compatibility issues.\n\nWARNING: This product can expose\n\n| | |\n| --- | --- |\n| Video: | |\n| Video Resolutions | Up to 8k 60Hz 4:2:0/8K 30Hz 4:4:4/4k 120Hz |\n| SMPTE/CTA/DCI Resolutions | Up to 4K 120Hz 4:4:4/8K 60Hz 4:2:0 |\n| VESA Resolutions | Up to DCI 4k (4096×2160) |\n| HDR Formats | HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, DV, Dynamic HDR |\n| Chroma Supported | 4:2:0, 4:2:2, 4:4:4 |\n| Color Space | YUV (Component), RGB (CSC: Rec. 601, Rec. 709, BT. 2020, DCI-P3 D65) |\n| Deep Color | Up to 16-Bit (1080p), up to 12-Bit (4k), up to 10-Bit (8k) |\n| Audio: | |\n| HDMI Bitstream | LPCM up to 7.1, 192 kHz 24-Bit, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos (All Formats), Dolby AC-4, DTS-Digital Surround, DTS-ES Discrete, DTS-HD High Res Audio, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS:X |\n| Extracted Audio (SPDIF TOSLINK) | LPCM up to 5.1 96 kHz 24-Bit, Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS-HD HIGH Res Audio |\n| Extracted Audio (Stereo RCA) | PCM 2 CH |\n| Extracted Audio Modes | Bind to Output |\n| HDMI 2.0 Distance (up to 18Gbps TMDS): | |\n| Passive HDMI IN/OUT | Up to 10 Meters/32.8 Feet |\n| AOC HDMI IN/OUT | Up to 100 Meters/328 Feet |\n| HDMI 2.1 Distance (up to 40Gbps FRL 5): | |\n| Passive HDMI IN/OUT | Up to 4 Meters/13.1 Feet |\n| AOC HDMI IN/OUT | Up to 100 Meters/328 Feet |\n| Other: | |\n| Bandwidth | 40Gbps  (FRL 5) |\n| HDCP | 1.4, 2.X Support |\n| Control: | |\n| Ports | LAN, RS232, IR Window |\n| Drivers | C4, RTI, ELAN, CRESTRON, URC (For More Information – See Drivers Page on AVProEdge.com/Drivers |\n| AVPro WebUI | YES |\n| Ports: | |\n| HDMI | Type A |\n| LAN | RJ45 w/ Web Interface/ Control |\n| Audio (Extracted Digital) | Toslink |\n| Audio (Extracted Analog) | L/R Audio |\n| IR RX | Window Only (Remote Included) |\n| RS232 | 3 Pin Terminal Block |\n| Environmental: | |\n| Operating Temperature | 23 to 125°F (-5 to 51°C) |\n| Storage Temperature | -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C) |\n| Humidity Range | 5-90% RH (No Condensation) |\n| Power: | |\n| Power Consumption (Total) | 7 Watts Max |\n| Power Supply – Matrix | Input: AC 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz Output: DC 5V  2A |\n| Dimensions: | |\n| Dimensions  (Unit Only – Height/Depth/Width) | mm: 20.5 x 94 x 232.98 inch: .9 x 3.7 x 9.17 |\n| Dimensions (Packaged Height/Depth/Width) | mm: 76.2 x 184.1 x 317.5 inch: 3 x 7.25 x 12.5 |\n| Weight (Unit) | 1 lbs.
