Description\n\nProof innovation never tires at AVPro Edge is found in this departure from our regular cadence of intensive video technologies development, as we introduce our first full width chassis product dedicated solely for audio use, the AC-AEX-RC-HUB. An engineering contemplation brought to fruition, it was conceived to harvest as many as eight decentralized audio-oriented sources at various distances from a centrally located third-party distribution system –  joining four additional audio sources neighboring the AC-AEX-RC-HUB, then aggregated into a common endpoint with matrixing capabilities for seamless  system integration. Control is mastered from the AVPro Edge GUI, or the API interfaces with automation systems like Control 4, Crestron, Elan, Savant and more to transparently traffic audio signals discretely behind the scenes.\n\n* key benefits\n* specs\n* untitled section\n* in the box\n\n12 AUDIO INPUTS, 8 VIA POWER OVER CABLE (POC)– The AC-AEX-RC-HUB configuration features 12 audio inputs and 12 audio outputs with I/O connections using Toslink or analog RCA, with eight of the inputs uniquely designed for retrieving audio from sources located remotely from core system distribution components, via Power over Cable (PoC) Ethernet category cable. Distances up to 100m are possible with Unshielded Twisted Pair, extending to 130m when using Shielded Twisted Pair. \nNOTE: An AVPro Edge AC-AEX-T Digital/Analog Audio Extender Transmitter (not included with the AC-AEX-RC-HUB) must be paired to each of these eight inputs for complete operation.\n\nAC-AEX-T IN-RACK USE–Transmitters may also be placed in the system rack, connecting to the AC-AEX-RC-HUB with short RJ-45 jumpers for rack-based sources such as multi-output music streamers and satellite radio tuners. AC-AEX-T units will fit the AC-EZRACK-15 for a clean rack environment.\n\n12 AUDIO OUTPUTS– Toslink signals are 2 CH PCM stereo (there is no multichannel downmixing) and analog signals are Left/Right stereo via RCA connectors. Signal is simultaneously output for both formats.\n\nTV AUDIO FROM ARCHITECTURAL SPEAKERS–The AC-AEX-T transmitter may be inconspicuously placed behind the thinnest OLED, sending audio from TV-led apps or ATSC tuners back to the AC-AEX-RC-HUB for routing to the system, then passing on to architectural speakers in the TV location through system distribution components. No need for difficult to conceal mini-amplifiers, often unusable on certain TV brands, requiring more cable management.\n\nEXPAND AUDIO OUTPUTS ON MANY AVPRO EDGE VIDEO MATRICES– System designs often consist of more audio-oriented areas than video destinations. Another interesting application for AC-AEX-RC-HUB is expansion of the audio outputs from a video matrix, such as the AVPro Edge Axion series, to 12 additional zones. Make audio from the big game available in areas where video is impractical.\n\nAUDIO ADJUSTMENTS–7 onboard pre-set EQ curves shape the sound as desired, plus output volume and Lt/Rt balance may be tailored to meet your needs.
